Our collectors live for Rock &
Roll and are able to obtain autographs in person on a regular basis
through relationships with industry insiders and the artists
themselves, who also stop by the store regularly to contribute their
own memorabilia. All of our items are authentic and we provide
a history of the item, photos from the time of signing and/or
Certificates of Authenticity for everything. If we don't believe it to
be completely authentic, we won't sell it. It's as simple as that.
We deal only in officially licensed merchandise. Nothing we sell is manufactured without the approval of the artist. That means, everything we sell supports the artist's endeavors. This is an important distinction in our merchandise. As the recording industry and new media continues to evolve, it is increasingly important to support the Artist, especially in commerce.

How we got started...
A prominent Orange County business woman, an avid rock fan, decided to start a memorabilia business for her jobless boyfriend. Upon realizing that there is actual work involved, he split leaving her holding the bag - which included more than fifty autographed guitars, hundreds of signed photos, some gold and platinum record awards, a bunch of rare collectibles, boxes of concert tees and a warehouse full of other cool rocker stuff.
But, Rock & Roll just doesn't quit! So, one of her industry contacts recruited his wife and bunch of other rock and roll collectors and the store successfully opened late in the summer of 2004. Since then, the RARE has become a world-renowned dealer of historically significant Rock and Roll Memorabilia, Guitars and Collectibles.
