Description   Black Les Paul-style Guitar Hand Signed on guitar body in gold paint pen by Eric Clapton and in silver paint pen by Les Paul with Certificate of Authenticity. Les Paul wrote "Nice Guitar" under his signature to note that this was in fact a tribute guitar to his signature model Gibson Les Paul, which Eric Clapton used more often in his earlier years playing with the band Cream.   About this item Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (born 30 March 1945), nicknamed Slowhand, is a Grammy Award winning English rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer. He is one of the most successful musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries, garnering an unprecedented three inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (The Yardbirds, Cream, and solo). Often viewed by critics and fans alike as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Clapton was ranked fourth in Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and #53 on their list of the The Immortals: 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Les Paul (born Lester William Polsfuss on June 9, 1915) is an American jazz guitarist and inventor. He is a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar which "made the sound of rock and roll possible." His many recording innovations include overdubbing, delay effects such as "sound on sound" and tape delay, phasing effects and multitrack recording.
