Working at The RARE is not easy. Every day is a marathon, not a sprint. We deal with rock fans of all ages, genres (within rock and roll) and socioeconomic status. Our customers love rock and roll. They play instruments or work with people who play them. They value rock history. They know their stuff and we must be able to relate to them and consult them effectively. They depend on us for sound advice, quality goods and excellent service.

In order to work for The RARE, you must be qualified. You must love Rock and Roll. You must be extremely knowledgeable about rock history, bands, players, guitars and other musical instruments. You must be neat, clean and organized. You must be genuinely friendly. You must have intermediate math and computer skills. You must be a problem solver with a lot of common sense. You must be honest. You must be committed to doing your best every day. You must be a team player and you must "fit in" with our excellent crew.

We will contact you to schedule a first interview if we are interested. All candidates must go through the same process including two (2) interviews and a written test.
